Taco Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Supplies:
4mm crochet hook, 4/Medium weight yarn in cream color, red, green, yellow, and brown. 8mm safety eyes, tapestry needle, scissors, and stuffing.

Additional Information:
Difficulty: Easy
To make the taco we basically make a big circle. We then make the toppings by working in the back loop only, as well as making loop stitches to make a textured cheese and lettuce. I will show you in detail how to do these stitches – so don’t be discouraged! To make the taco shape, we simply fold the circle in half like a real tortilla.

Taco:

Round 10: *Inc, Sc 8* all around (60)
Round 11: *Inc, Sc 9* all around (66)
Add safety eyes in here. Switch to Red.

Round 12: In the BLO (Back Loop Only), *Sc* in the next 33 stitches.

Now switch to Green. We will make a loop stitch and cut these loops later on. If the loop stitch is too advanced for you, you can just do a single crochet in the next 33 stitches in the BLO.
Round 12: Insert your hook into the back loop of the next stitch. Hold the yarn as shown. Pull the string as shown, and pull through the loop. Remove your finger from holding the loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops. Now you will have a loop. Now pull the loop towards you. Be sure to pull the loop towards you after making each stitch. Do this loops stitch in the next 33 stitches in the BLO.

Round 13: Switch to Yellow. Do the loop stitch in the next 33 stitches in the BLO.

Round 13: Switch to Brown. Now we will make a hamburger texture stitch. If this stitch is too advanced for you, you can just single crochet in the next 33 stitches in the BLO.

Repeat *Yarn over and insert the hook into the next stitch. Yarn overand pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 of the loops. Repeat steps in the same stitch a total of 3 times. Now you will have a total of 4 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops. Single crochet in the next stitch.* 16 times. Sc in the last st.

Your work will now look like this. To assemble the taco please see the next step.

Assembly:

Fold the circle in half, aligning the obvious color changes so they’re opposite of each other. Star sewing the piece together, starting from one end and working to the other. Stuff the taco before fully sewing shut.

Smile:

In Black Embroidery Thread

Insert needle with thread into the taco and pull needle out under the right eye as shown. Insert needle into the middle area of the taco, and pull needle out under the left eye as shown. Reinsert needle into the middle of the mouth, and pull out of original insertion spot.

Taco Assembly:

Cut the loops of the cheese and lettuce as shown. Trim it to your liking.
